Welcome to Godolphin School

Together we thrive
On behalf of our pupils, staff and governors, we would like to warmly welcome you to Godolphin Primary School. We hope our website gives you a real sense of the vibrant, caring and ambitious learning community we are so proud of. Here, you’ll find a flavour of daily school life, our children’s achievements and the high-quality education we provide every day.
At Godolphin, children are at the heart of everything we do. Our curriculum is carefully designed to spark curiosity – encouraging children to ask questions, think critically and solve problems so that they develop a lifelong love of learning and a sense of wonder about the world around them.
Equally important is kindness. We foster an environment where respect, empathy and compassion are nurtured, supporting both mental and physical wellbeing. Every child is valued, cared for and encouraged to build resilience, confidence and a positive outlook on life.
We are also deeply committed to helping our children feel connected – to one another, to our local community and to the wider world. Through strong, respectful relationships and opportunities to contribute beyond the classroom, pupils gain a real sense of belonging and responsibility. Together we thrive, as every member of our school community plays a part in helping each child flourish.
As Executive Headteacher and Head of School, it is our privilege to lead a team of dedicated staff who are passionate about inspiring, challenging and supporting every child. We work in close partnership with parents and carers, believing that education is most powerful when school and home come together.
Whether your child is starting their very first day with us or joining later in their school journey, they will be welcomed, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
This website offers a glimpse into life at Godolphin – but the best way to experience our school is to come and see it in action. We warmly invite you to visit, meet our wonderful children and staff, and discover for yourself what makes Godolphin Primary School such a special place to learn, grow and thrive.
Warm regards,
Lucy Wandless (Executive Headteacher)
Colin Snook (Head of School)
